Stay Ready started with one simple idea from a nurse with more than 20 years of experience. As she prepared to send her oldest daughter off to college, Jamey knew firsthand how overwhelming it could be for students to navigate the pharmacy aisle when they weren't feeling well. Wanting to make life a little easier, she created thoughtfully curated kits filled with over-the-counter medications and everyday essentials—not only for her daughter, but also as gifts for many of her daughter's friends before they left for school.

 

A few years later, Jamey gave the same kit to a close friend's daughter as she headed off to college. The family loved the convenience and peace of mind it provided, and one simple question sparked something much bigger: "Why doesn't everyone have one of these?"

That question led to countless conversations throughout a summer filled with graduation parties. What began as an idea for college students quickly expanded into kits for weddings, travel, teachers, and other milestones where being prepared can make all the difference.

With Jamey's background in nursing and her role as a university nursing professor, Mike's 25 years’ experience in sales, and Casey's 25 years of sales and marketing expertise, the three decided to take a leap of faith and bring the idea to life.
